Position: Enterprise Software Sales Executive

Your Strengths: We are seeking an exceptionally talented and experienced enterprise software sales representative who thrives in complexity and loves the challenge of penetrating sophisticated markets. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Strategic Mindset: You understand the intricacies of enterprise sales and can navigate through complex decision-making processes with ease.
- Industry Savvy: Our horizontally capable software is applicable across numerous industries, including our core verticals of Financial Services, Energy, Government and Manufacturing. This means that broad business acumen is essential. You’re adept at identifying unique use cases and quickly tailoring off-the-shelf solutions like HighGear to meet diverse business needs.
- Proven Success: You have a track record of closing significant deals in complex enterprise environments. You understand the terminology and details related to the compliance, integration, and security requirements of the world’s largest and most secure organizations, but you can also speak plainly to non-technical operational stakeholders. Your approach is not just about selling; it’s about identifying needs and then solving those needs with technology.

Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs, position HighGear as the solution, and guide them through the sales cycle.
- Manage pre-sales engineering resources to prove concepts and outmaneuver the competition.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to enhance sales processes and product offerings.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years in enterprise software sales with a history of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Experience with complex sales cycles and understanding of the enterprise technology integration landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Proven success, superior intellect, and rich experience-based acumen may be considered to be sufficient for the right candidate.

- Must be willing to work full time in the HighGear office in Frederick, Maryland.
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
- Uncapped incentive compensation for achieving/exceeding annual performance goals (100% of base compensation at quota)
- 401(k) with 4% match
